In a bygone era both Lexington community churches desiring to help, and people in need of help, found themselves frustrated.  Individual churches couldn't help everyone and set up a "gentlemen's agreement" that each church would meet a different need and refer people to one another.  People in need got frustrated after being referred to different churches instead of just receiving help then and there.  In response, the Lexington Ministerial Association was formed.  We now pool our resources and work collaboratively with the Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska to efficiently and effectively help as many people as we can.
